I have had a few different Pain Management Doctors since having lower lumbar pain and Spinal Fusion finding Dr. Stevens was a blessing. He always makes me feel important and like I matter. His compassion and bedside manner is amazing! His staff is just as great. Dealing with chronic pain is a task as it is but having a Dr who listens and cares make a huge difference. The people are outstanding, and always ready to help with any questions, and always with a smile. I go to the Temple Texas Clinic. Dr. Heath and Nurse Lisa are the best. My first visit I was nervous and scared. After all it is a pain clinic. I thought they would look at me as a drug addict. Let me put you at ease. NOT AT ALL. Just the opposite, and I go every month. Trust is an important part of me. I don’t trust doctors for good reasons. Since a 15 year old girl, now middle-aged woman I know doctors. I trust Pain Specialists of America.

I highly recommend anybody who has back pains to go see doctor Stevens he is so awesome he has helped me tremendously.

I called this office when my MRI revealed a bulging disk was the cause of my sciatica and numb right leg. When I explained I was leaving on vacation, they worked me in the NEXT DAY. The front office was clear about financial obligations. They used my insurance and calculated my portion accurately. The “back office” was comprised of caring competent practitioners. The procedure was only a few minutes long and my symptoms were completely eradicated. As a nurse, I was impressed by the efficiency and gentleness of the whole clinic. Four days later I was skiing down the slopes in Colorado with more energy and balance than before. I have already referred a dear friend with a similar problem to the clinic.

What to say about Dr. Sarna. His balanced mix of knowledge, professionalism & compassion is second to none, while working with patients who suffer with pain on a daily basis. He helps me understand the reasons for the particular medications & the doses he prescribes. He also encourages me to “push through” when I can rather than take more than I might need. Dr. Sarna is genius. His staff is TERRIFIC. Kim, his NP is terrific as well. Thanks to all. You are a Godsend. Dom, you rock!
