Lower back pain is one of the most common types of back pain. This area contains a complex series of nerves and tissue that affect almost every other part of the body. It is also one of the most frequently strained parts of the body for people of all ages. Even children can experience low back pain if they put too much pressure on it.
Back pain is considered chronic when it lasts for 12 weeks or more. We treat both temporary and chronic lower back pains. Treatment for lower back pain is usually noninvasive or minimally invasive, and it may include joint injections, medication, hot/cold therapy, and massage. If these treatments are ineffective, then surgery may be required.
